Wig making German long needle #5

This a small-sized wig making needle #5.
It will grab 1-2 hairs per knot and is perfect for the front lace of any facial pieces you might be making.
It is made from hardened steel and is very durable. It has become the favourite needle of several European opera houses.
Personally, I like to cut off the back of the needle about 1.5 cm so I can get a smoother hand movement when tying.
But this is a personal choice. I know many people that keep it full length too.
